Linda Kay Behrens

      Linda Kay Behrens, age 77, of Ovid, MI, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 25, 2025, surrounded by her family.
     Cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
     Linda was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on January 21, 1948, the daughter of Richard and Catherine (Bush) Hallead. She graduated from Ovid High School, Ovid, MI. She married Douglas H. Behrens, on April 11, 1970, at the Ovid United Methodist Church, Ovid, MI. They were blessed with fifty-five years of marriage, and he survives her.
     While Jeff and Brian were growing up, Linda was working from home as a beautician. Once they were grown, she worked at JCPenney’s in Owosso for fifteen years where she retired from. Once retired, Linda and her family enjoyed spending their winters in Haines City, Florida, with Doug and Jeff. Linda loved spending time with her family, the summers in Michigan where she tended to her flowers, bird watching especially the hummingbirds, her time in the pool, and visiting with her best friend, Sharon Baker.
     She is survived by her husband Doug Behrens of Ovid, MI; son Jeffrey Behrens of Ovid, MI; and son Brian Behrens and son-in-law Matthew Wahl of Ovid, MI. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
     The family would like to thank the caregivers that took special care of Linda over the past few years: Karen, Tracy, Rachel, Vlinda, Nickie, Vicki, Tammy, and Shelley. Linda enjoyed all the special moments you made.
