Linda Reeves

Linda Lee Reeves age 77 of Ithaca, MI, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center - Gratiot, Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.  Burial will take place at North Star Cemetery, North Star, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 4-8 P.M., and Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11-1 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Linda was born in Alma, MI on September 22, 1941 the daughter of Louis and Ellen (Wang) DeRosia.  She was a graduate of Alma High School.  Linda married Carl Reeves on March 30, 1963 in Alma.  She resided most of her life in Ithaca.

Linda worked on her family farm.  She was very talented in sewing, flower arranging, cake decorating, painting, and crafting.  Linda loved gardening and had a beautiful lawn.  Linda could do anything she put her mind to.  She enjoyed spending time at their cottage at Higgins Lake.  Her family was very important to her, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren made her very happy.

She is survived by her husband Carl Reeves of Ithaca, MI; son Byron and Terri Reeves of Ithaca, MI; daughter Mindy and Dan Mott of Alma, MI; six grandchildren: Bethany (Phil) Fletcher, Grant Reeves, Emily Reeves, Danielle Mott, Mitchell (Macy) Mott, and Dalanie Mott; two great-grandchildren: Owen Fletcher and Eloise Mott; and sisters: Vicky and Richard Lute of Alma, MI; and Shawn Harris of Sumner, MI.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Merrill and LaVera Reeves, and her sisters: Judy Fitzpatrick and Norma Joley.
