Lloyd "Cliff" Clark

Lloyd Clifton “Cliff” Clark age 92, of Ovid, MI, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Houghton Chapel, Ovid, MI, on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 1:00 P.M., with Mr. Chuck Emmert officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ovid, MI.  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Cliff was born in Ovid, MI on March 21, 1927, the son of Lloyd and Evelyn (Barclay) Clark. He received his GED from Ovid High School. Cliff served his country in the US Army Airborne during WWII.

On June 25, 1960 he married Eva Lucille (Louth) Wallace in St. Johns, MI.  Cliff worked for General Motors for 37 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Ovid VFW Post 8964.

He is survived by his wife Lucille Clark, 4 children: Kay and Mike Hammond, Susan Dourlain, Jerry Ann Kimmel, and Judy Heinig; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Cliff was predeceased by his parents, 2 daughters: Toni Sanderson and Connie McAlister, 3 brothers: Thomas & Glenn Clark and Howard Decker.
