Lois J. "Sandy" Johnston age 85, of Alma, MI, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019.

Lois was born in Buffalo, New York on August 20, 1933 the daughter of James and Frances (Lapp) Whittemore.  Lois married John Johnston on May 5, 1962 in Las Vegas, NV.

She is survived by her husband John Johnston of Alma, MI; daughter Patti Johnston of Alma, MI; son David and Diana Johnston of Chesapeake, VA; 5 grandchildren: Destiny and Jeremy Bennett of Windsor, CO; Ashley Falcone of Alma, MI; Frannie Seeley of Sumner, MI; David Allen Wetmore of Chesapeake, VA; Darcy Johnston of Chesapeake, VA; 2 great-grandchildren Acadian Seeley and Maverick Shock; brother William Vasbinder of Buffalo, NY. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings.
