Lois Warson

Lois Jean (Sherman) Warson age 76 of Middleton, Michigan died Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, MI on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Edwin Snook will officiate with burial at Fulton Center Cemetery Perrinton, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Lois was born in Bridgeville, MI on April 9, 1931 the daughter of Leo and Eathel ( Mills ) Moore. She resided most of her life in the Middleton, & Perrinton area and graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1949. Lois married Roscoe Sherman on November 26, 1948 in Ithaca, Michigan. He passed away on June 3, 1975. She then married Bill Warson of Houghton Lake. He passed away in 1979. She was a homemaker. Lois enjoyed the companionship of her dogs Maggie and Sadie and car shows. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and making blankets and baking cookies for them. Lois was a member of the AM Vets of Higgins Lake and Elks Lodge of Higgins Lake.

She is survived by 1 sister Kay & James Brzak of Harrison, MI, son Roger & Judy Sherman of Alabama, daughter Brenda & David Sexton of Belvidere, IL, son Tim Sherman of Ionia, MI, close friend Richard Miller of Middleton, MI, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, and her 2 husbands.

Memorials may be made to Commission on Aging in Ithaca. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
