Lomar Gotham

Lomar Wirt Gotham, age 79, of St. Louis, MI died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Mr. Keith Wise will officiate. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home, St. Louis Chapel.

Lomar was born in St. Louis, Michigan on June 10, 1930, the son of Lloyd O. and Marvell E. (Tenney) Gotham. He graduated St. Louis High School with the class of 1949. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a lifelong resident of St. Louis. Lomar retired as an electrician from Worthy Electric in 1995. He enjoyed camping up north, and most of all loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his 2 sisters; Margaret Roslund of St. Louis, MI, Alberta and Bruce Grover of St. Louis, MI, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Annette, a brother Duane, and a nephew Rickie.
