Loren Wallace

Loren Earl Wallace age 76 of Alma, Michigan died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 3:00 PM. Pastor Wayne Shidler will officiate with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2006 from 1-3 P.M.

Loren was born in Owosso, Michigan on January 9, 1929 the son of Earl and Leona ( Bailey ) Wallace. He resided most of her life in Owosso, Michigan until moving to Alma 25 years ago. Loren married Frances Alberts in Alma, Michigan on August 24, 1978. He managed Broadmore Apartments in Alma for several years. He also painted houses, did gardening and yard work.

He is survived by his wife Frances Wallace of Alma, MI, 14 children; Laura & Curt Saarinen of Dollar Bay, Michigan, Tina & Joe Lauer of Paris, Michigan, Roxann Hoffman of Weidman, Michigan, JerryAnn & Eugene Norder of Owosso, Michigan, Judy Heinig of Owosso, Michigan, Sue & Roland Dourlain of Birch Run, Michigan, Barry & Patty Wallace of Harrison, Michigan, Stewart Wallace of Midland, Michigan, Mathew Wallace of Harrison, Michigan, Brad & Linda Richardson of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Mark & Nancy Richardson of Harrison, Michigan, Kim Richardson of Alma, Michigan, Brian & Robin Richardson of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Scott & Sonya Richardson of Alma, Michigan, brother Dale & Jackie Wallace of Kansas, 38 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters; Aileen Randolph & Ruth Root, and 1 brother Odell Wallace.

Memorials may be made to the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
