Lorraine Coleman

Lorraine M. Coleman age 87 of Wheeler, MI, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Midland, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, with Pastor Lee Rhodes officiating. Burial will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Lorraine was born in Bethany Township, Michigan on December 23, 1930, the daughter of Charles and Vera (Hoard) Wolfgang. She graduated from Breckenridge High School with the class of 1949. Lorraine married Max K. Coleman on August 9, 1952, in Breckenridge; Max passed away on February 1, 2015.

Lorraine enjoyed cooking and worked at Breckenridge Community Schools for many years as a cook. She loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lorraine spent all of her life in the Breckenridge/Wheeler area.

She is survived by daughter Connie and Dave Katt of Breckenridge, MI, son Kevin and Joan Coleman of Breckenridge, MI, son Kendall and Lori Coleman of Breckenridge, MI, grandchildren: Ben and Jen Katt of Birch Run, MI, Adam and Sara Katt of Kawkawlin, MI, Kent Coleman (Alanna Ramirez) of Breckenridge, MI, Hilary and Ruben Soto of Wheeler, MI, sister Nancy and Dewey Mallory of Wheeler, MI, sister Sue and Rich Roberts of Breckenridge, MI, sister in law Monica Wolfgang of Breckenridge, MI, and great grandchildren: Elizabeth and David Katt.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Max, brothers: Lowell Wolfgang, Chuck Wolfgang and sister: Nina Shaw.
