Luis G. Arrizola Sr. age 94 of Sumner, Michigan formerly of Alma, Michigan, died on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at his daughters home in Sumner, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 10 A.M. Visitation will be on Monday 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Alma, Michigan. Pastor Timothy Ortiz will officiate. Luis was born in LaGloria, Texas on September 22, 1911 the son of Alcalio & Estafena Arrizola. He resided most of his childhood in Texas and adult life in Alma, Michigan. He married Ruperta Diaz she has predeceased him. He worked for Total Petroleum Refinery in Alma, retiring in 1976 and attended Iglesia Belem Church, Alma, Michigan. Survivors include his 2 daughters, Amelia & Jerry Crawford of Sumner, Michigan, Gloria & Larry Wheeler of Alma, Michigan, 1 son, Luz Arrizola Jr. of Alma, Michigan, 2 step daughters, Eva Gamboa of Alma, Michigan, Mary Cruz of Flint, Michigan, many grandchildren & great grandchildren & great great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Fred Arrizola of Texas, Henry Arrizola of Texas. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, stepson, Adam Gamboa, several brothers & sisters.
