Lynda Marie Ketchum

      Lynda Marie Ketchum, age 64, of Ovid, MI, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Lansing Hospital. 

      A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  

      Lynda was born in St. Johns, Michigan on October 12, 1959, the daughter of Richard Ketchum and Onalee (Slowinski) Kent.   She was a graduate of St. Johns High School.

      Lynda loved to crochet and cook.   Her family was the most important part of her life and she cherished the time spent with them.  Lynda was very faithful in her belief and relied on God and her faith to guide her.   She and Tim lived in Louisiana previously for about 10 years and returned home in 2009.   

      She is survived by her husband Tim Janes of Ovid, MI; sister Angel Kent of St. Johns, MI; brother Richard Ketchum of Nebraska; brother Scott (Lauri) Ketchum of St. Johns, MI; brother Robert (Melissa) Kent of Zachary, LA; brother Rodney Ketchum of Oklahoma. Lynda is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, also a great-great-niece.  Lynda was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
