Lynn Alfred Most age 82 of Ithaca, Michgian died Monday, June 9, 2008 at Rosewood Adult Foster Care, Ithaca, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, MI on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Mary Anne Evans-Justin will officiate with burial at Lafayette Township Cemetery Gratiot County, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M, and for one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.

Lynn was born in Lafayette Township, Michigan on May 17, 1926 the son of George and Bessie ( Alcott ) Most. He was a life long resident of Ithaca, MI and attended Meade Country Schools. Lynn married Katherine Howell on October 4, 1947. She died on October 25, 2002. He was a retired farmer and construction worker. He loved bowling, hunting, playing cards, and watching the Detroit Tigers. Lynn was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church as well as the VFW Ithaca Post #7805. Lynn served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He is survived by 7 children; Richard & Kathleen Most of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Ron & Diane Most of Riverdale, MI, Rhonda & Ted Pittman of Ithaca, MI, Roger Most & Sherry Mills of Ithaca, MI, Randy & Roxanne Most of Ithaca, MI, Sherri Bush of Georgia, Sharon & Bill Clagg of Alma, MI, 22 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 brother Donald & Doris Most of Ithaca, MI, and 1 sister Marion Zimmerman of Mt. Pleasant, MI. He is predeceased by; his parents, wife, 1 great grandson Brent Beechler, and 9 brothers and sisters.
