Lynn Palaszeski

Lynn Delbert Palaszeski age 58 of Castro Valley, California died Saturday, March 8, 2008.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Herb Wheelock will officiate with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Lynn was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 1, 1950 the son of William and Lois ( Knight ) Palaszeski. He resided most of his life in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Chesaning High School with the class of 1968. Lynn worked on the ore carrier ships that sailed on the Great Lakes. He liked raising dogs especially Saint Bernards. He loved putting on firework displays. Lynn was a member of Henderson United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his mother Lois Palaszeski of Oakley, MI, sister Loretta & Kenn Smith of Oakley, MI, 2 nephews; Jaymes Palaszeski of Adrian, MI, Nicholas & Bridget Smith & children of Morenci, MI, 1 niece Stephanie Smith of Oakley, MI. He is predeceased by his father.

Memorials may be made to Henderson United Methodist Church. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, Michigan.
