Lynn Marie Scherzer age 58 of Bannister, Michigan died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM. will officiate with burial at Ridge Road Cemetery Brady Township, Michigan. Visitation will be held Friday, December 21, 2007 from 3-8 P.M.

Lynn was born in Owosso, Michigan on June 1, 1949 the daughter of Leon Edward and Melva Rosetta ( Lamrouex ) Swan. She resided most of her life in Elsie, Michigan and attended Chesaning & Brady Schools. Lynn married Randall Scherzer on December 19, 1965 in Oakley, Michigan. She was a homemaker. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. Lynn loved flowers, going to old car shows and tractor shows, and she enjoyed arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years Randall Scherzer of Bannister, MI, children; Scott Scherzer & Pam Mahin of Blanchard, MI, Kimberly & John Seta of Chesaning, MI, Tina & Richard Swarthout of Ashley, MI, Kathy Hogsett & Stacy Conklin of Bannister, MI, 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother Leon Swan, and 5 sisters; Carol & Don Cooper, Sharon Blunt, Shirley & Terry Stevens, Karen Theile, and Barb Banta. She is predeceased by her parents.

Memorials may be made to the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
