Mabel Kramp

Mabel Elizabeth Kramp, age 99, of Corunna, MI passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel, Corunna, MI on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.. Rev. David R. Strobe will officiate. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mabel was born in Gibson City, Illinois on January 5, 1913, the daughter of Hans Peter and Anna Marie (Hansen) Hansen. She was a graduate of Corunna High School class of 1932 and resided most of her life in Corunna.

Mabel married Cecil Kramp on April 18, 1934 in Corunna. Cecil passed away on April 18, 1976.

Mabel was the first secretary and former treasurer for Corunna United Methodist Church where she was a longtime member and a former cafeteria employee for Corunna Public Schools. She was a member of the Corunna United Methodist Church Women, The Faith Circle, a member of A.A.R.P. the Owosso Chapter of the Flint Travel Club and The Golden Agers Club. She loved to sew.

She is survived by her son, Clarence and Marilyn Kramp of Owosso, MI; 2 granddaughters, Martha and Robert Atchinson of Berwyn, PA and Elizabeth and Dennis Prawdzik of Lake Orion, MI; 5 great grandchildren, Sarah, Rebekah & Hannah Atchinson and Justin & Megan Prawdzik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sisters, Irene Keesler, Augusta Ware and Gladys Keesler.
