Madelyn G. Barnum age 83 of St. Louis, Michigan died Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Schnepp Health Care Center St. Louis, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Twin Cities Seventh Day Adventist , Alma, Michigan on Tuesday, March 22, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Rodney Davis and Pastor Ken Micheff will officiate with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery St. Louis, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Madelyn was born in St. Johns, Michigan on May 15, 1922 the daughter of Henry and Grace ( McNaughton ) Adams. She was a life long resident of St. Louis, Michigan and attended Gratiot County Area Schools. Madelyn married Kenneth Barnum on March 27, 1941 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. He died February 9, 2006. She was a homemaker, and a wonderful mother. She loved all crafting, gardening, and canning. She loved all children and most of all her family. Madelyn was a member of Twin Cities Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by 3 children; Ken & Dianne Barnum Jr. of Eau Clair, Michigan, JoAnn Cortez of Merced, California, Mary & Tim Goffnett of Alma, Michigan, 7 grandchildren; Robert Barnum, Sheila Gair, Randy & Tammy Barnum, Michelle & Richard Brooks, Mickey Cortez, Tim & Jen Goffnett, Karrie Goffnett, 12 great srandchildren, 2 sisters; Jean & John Mahler of Perrinton, Michigan, Pat Haney of Houghton Lake, Michigan, and 1 brother Bud Adams of St. Louis, Michigan.

Memorials may be made to 3 ABN, P.O. Box 220 West Frankfort, Illinois 62896. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel, 117 North East Street, St. Louis, Michigan.
