Maeola Little

Maeola Little age 97, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 in Oklahoma.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at the Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Maeola was born on August 11, 1918 in Ithaca, Michigan, the daughter of Glenn and Caroline (Rolfe) Peet. She graduated from Ithaca High School. On June 18, 1939 she married Laverne Little in Ithaca, Michigan, Laverne died on August 13, 1992.

Maeola had worked for Wolverine World Wide in Ithaca for 20 years, and then she worked at the Ranch House and then McDonalds.  She was a member of Ithaca United Methodist Church. Maeola resided most of her life in Ithaca, Michigan, moving to Oklahoma in 2008.

She is survived by 2 children; her son Garry Little of Redousal NM, and daughter Pam Hubble of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, great grandson, son-in-law Jim Hubble, 4 brothers; Alvin, Gerald, Clifford and Jim Peet, and a sister Donna Crites.
