Magdalean Stechschulte age 88 of Owosso, MI died Friday, August 15, 2008 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, MI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church Owosso, MI on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Fr. John Fain will officiate with burial at St. Paul Cemetery Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. and Monday, August 18, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI. Rosary will be prayed on Monday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Magdalean was born in Shiawassee County, Michigan on May 8, 1920, the daughter of Charles M. and Rosa (Sanders) Weber. She lived all of her life in Shiawassee County. Magdalean married James Stechschulte on October 26, 1937 in Chesaning, MI. He died on November 2, 1998. Magdalean was a homemaker and she worked on the family dairy farm. She loved flowers, gardening and she enjoyed quilting. Her family was very important to her.
She is survived by her daughter Rosemary and Jim Davis of Ocala, FL, son Robert and Nancy Stechschulte of North Port, FL, son James and Camille Stechschulte of Brooklyn, MI, daughter Sue and Ron Skutt of Ovid, MI, son Phillip Stechschulte of Beaver Creek, OH, son Victor and Patty Stechschulte of Owosso, MI, son Tom and Maria Stechschulte of Pembroke Pines, FL, 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Antoinette Eisenhauer of New Lothrop, MI, Rosella and Ed Koester of Fort Myers, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, son Dennis, 4 sisters, and 6 brothers.
