Manuel S. Molina, Jr.

        Manuel S. Molina, Jr.,age  81, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Alma, MI.

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, MI at a later date.

   Manuel was born in Rosebush, Texas on February 3, 1941, the son of Manuel and Eusebia (Hernandez) Molina. He graduated from Ithaca High School. Manuel married Joyce Marilyn Smith on June 19, 1967.

     He enjoyed and loved working outdoors, he cherished all the years spent at Godley's Country Floral, he loved classic cars, listening and singing to music, watching his favorite TV shows, visiting with his family and seeing them grow into amazing people. He loved his wife with his whole heart. He loved being a father but being a grandfather meant the world to him, he loved all of his 4 grandsons and 12 granddaughters with many great grandchildren and one more great grandchild on the way. He had a smile and a laugh that would fill up a room. Manuel was truly one of a kind. 

   He is survived by his wife Joyce Molina of Ithaca, children: Candy and Dave Hunter of Ithaca, Serena and Wayne Kemper of Alma, Tabatha and Trent Tugen of Alma, Manuel Molina III and ex daughter in law Crystal Barns of Ithaca, Johnny and Ariel Molina of Ithaca. He is also survived by grandchildren: Stephanie, Sondra, Samantha, David, April, Nichole, Wayne Jr., Nadia, Shana, Holley, Heidi, Heather, Katie, Steven, Adrianna, Alexander, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

     Manuel is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Domingo and Cipriano and son Steven Paul Molina.
