Marceline Zamarripa

Marceline Lois Zamarripa age 74 of St. Louis, Michigan died Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at Michigan Masonic Pathways Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Pastor George Showers will officiate with burial at Chapel Garden Cemetery Elwell, Michigan. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Marceline was born in Gratiot County, Michigan on November 9, 1930 the daughter of Orb and Ruth ( Rench ) Humm. She resided most of her life in St. Louis, MI. She graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1949. She then attended Central Michigan University and Olivet College. She earned her Associates Degree in Education and Chemistry. Marceline married Ijinio Zamarripa in St. Louis, Michigan on May 28, 1961. She was a school teacher. She then went to work in the lab at Total Petroleum and then Michigan Chemical Plant. She retired from Gratiot Community Hospital Housekeepping Department.
She is survived by her husband Ijinio Zamarripa of St. Louis, MI, 3 children; Rebecca & John Kelly of Alma, MI, Sue & Bob McGarry of Shepherd, MI, Jim Zamarripa of St. Louis, MI, 5 grandchildren; Shannon, Bridgett, Scott, Miranda, and Joe , 1 great grandchild Cameron and 1 brother Jack & Kathleen Humm of Ithaca, MI. She is predeceased by her parents, and 1 brother Duane Humm.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
