Loving wife, mother & grandmother died Thursday, November 27, 2003 at her home with her family by her side. She was 79 years old.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 1, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Cyrila�(TM)s Catholic Church in Bannister, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Wolfgang Streichardt and Mr. Thomas Bradley will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday & Sunday from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie Michigan.
Marcella was born on January 9, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Joseph & Fraciska (Macak) Kralovec. She graduated from Farragut High School in Chicago, Illinois. On February 23, 1946 she married Rudy Doubrava in Chicago; they have been married 57 years. Marcella was an Avon Representative for the past 31 years in the area. She was a member of St. Cyrila�(TM)s Catholic Church in Bannister, also the Altar Society, ZCBJ Lodge #225, V.F.W. Auxiliary in Owosso. She had resided in the Elsie area for 51 years.
Survivors include her husband, Rudy Doubrava of Elsie, 2 daughters, Barbara & Charles Robertson of Owosso, Susan & Gil Grass of St. Petersburg, FL, 2 sons, Richard & Debora Doubrava of Lansing, Thomas & Stacy Doubrava of Elsie, 4 grandsons, Chris & Curt Robertson and Kyle & Bryce Doubrava. She was predeceased by her parents, 1 sister, Mildred Mares and 1 brother, Jerome Kralovec.
Memorials can be made to Clinton County Hospice or a Charity of the Donors Choice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
