Margaret Jane Allen, age 93, of Ithaca, MI died 2 days before her 94th birthday on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Rosewood Adult Foster Care, Ithaca, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, Michigan on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Steve Wimmer officiating. Burial will take place at Ithaca Cemetery Ithaca, MI. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 3-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Margaret was born in Ithaca, Michigan on January 11, 1919, the daughter Willard C. and Jessie (Hilburn) Rowe. Margaret graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1937. On December 5, 1938 she married Vere Fritz Allen, he predeceased her on October 21, 2007. Margaret was a great cook and baker. She enjoyed her family very much and was a hard working farmer's wife who also taught Sunday School. She resided all of her life in the Ithaca area and attended Alma First Church of God in Alma.

She is survived by her daughter Janice and Gerald Campbell of Ithaca, MI, son Jared and Janet Allen of Ithaca, MI, 4 grandchildren; Shari and Jeff Giles, Brent and Patty Allen, Amy Bingham, and Shannon and Jessica Nielsen, 9 great grandchildren Allison, Joshua, Kara, Tyler, Samantha, Luke, Chloe, Noah and Evan, 1 great great grandson Benjamin Stec and a great great grandchild on the way. She was predeceased by her husband, and sister Elaine.
