Margaret Keller

Margaret Anne Keller age 79, of Ashley, MI, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oakley, MI on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 P.M., with Rev. David Mielke officiating.  Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI.  Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI.

Margaret was born in Ashley, Michigan on April 17, 1937, the daughter of Peter and Mildred (Tihlarik) Benedick. She graduated from Ashley High School.  Margaret married Donald Duane Keller on August 17, 1957; Don passed away on April 17, 1995.

Margaret enjoyed cooking and delivering meals to family and friends, shopping and running the roads.  She liked attending her grandchildren's sporting events and teaching them how to cook.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Margaret was a very active member of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of the choir and Ladies Aid.

She is survived by her children; Crystal and Larry Mepham, Mark (Lynn) Keller, Janet Kies, Judi and Michael Anderson, Cynthia and Kurt Hrabal, David and Lynnette Keller, grandchildren; Kristin and Scott Taylor, Gina and Ryan Petty, Emily and Jason Miller, Christopher Holton, Raychel Keller, Hunter Hrabal, Landon  Hrabal, Rylyn Hrabal, DJ Keller, and Cole Keller, great grandchildren; Monica, Kelly, Cohen, Logan, Jameson, Eden, Colton and Christopher and her siblings; Patricia and Jim Wicke, Rita and Pat Cordray, Pete and Rene Benedick, and Deb and Don Wilson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, and sister Mildred Turner.
