Margaret Kimmel

Margaret Marie "Mickey" Kimmel age 69 of Ovid, MI, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor, St. Johns, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. at the Ovid Township Hall, Ovid, MI.

Margaret was born in Owosso, MI on October 28, 1948 the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Ordway) Ostrander.  She was a graduate of Chesaning High School and Mickey resided most of her life in the Ovid Elsie area.  Mickey enjoyed spending time with her family and friends most of all.

She is survived by her son Kenneth and Kimberly Coon of Sharon, PA; daughter Mary and Tony Flanner of Ovid, MI; her grandson Richard who she raised also 2 grandchildren: Nicholas and Vanessa Flanner; 2 great-grandchildren: Carson and Connor Cooper; sister Darlene Goedert of Lansing, MI; brother Gerald "Jake" Ostrander of Chesaning, MI; and brother Clarence "Bud" Ostrander of Chesaning, MI.  Mickey was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Vanessa Coon and brother Richard Ostrander.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Great Lakes Caring Hospice and the staff of Hazel Findlay for the care and compassion that they showed Mickey.
