Margaret Watson, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister went home to be with her Lord on May 17, 2013 at Schnepps Health Care. Margaret was born on March 20, 1927 in Midland County to Charles and Edith (Fenske) Riggie.

Funeral Services will be held on May 20, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 11:00 A.M. in Alma, MI with Pastor John Eich. Burial will take place at Jasper Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on May 19, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI.

On April 12, 1947 Margaret married LJ Earegood. Together, they had two daughters Jacalyn (Theodore) Roe of St. Louis and Lynda Alexander of Portage. On June 25, 1965 Margaret married Ford E. Watson and they enjoyed 26 blessed years together before his death in 1991. Margaret is also survived by stepdaughters Sandra (Thomas) Brown of St. Louis and Debra Watson of Sumner; daughter-in-law Moreen Bailey of Hillsdale. Also, surviving her are grandchildren: Michelle Roe, Kimberly Roe and Chadwick (Christina) Roe all of St. Louis and her great-grandchildren: Isabel, Eliot and Ian Roe. She is also survived by her brother, Charles (Donna) Riggie of Midland and sister-in-law Evelyn Cross of Midland.

Margaret was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church and was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alma, MI. While a member of Good Shepherd, Margaret was an active volunteer. Margaret enjoyed working in and showing off her wonderful flower gardens. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. Her family in return thought that Margaret was an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with her selfless love and encouragement to all. This past Mother's Day, was a special Mother's Day to Margaret as she spent time with all of her loved ones.

Margaret is predeceased by her parents, brothers: George, Clare and Clarence Riggie, sisters: Anna McNamara, Hazel Gay and Viola Green and step-son David Watson Bailey.
