Margaret Wilson

Margaret Ann Wilson, age 75, of Corunna, Michigan passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday September 14, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Margaret was born in Carson City, Michigan on May 15, 1937, the daughter of Norton and Theone (Johnson) Barrett. Margaret resided most of her life in Elsie. She married Nelson Wilson on April 18, 1959 in Carson City, MI. He passed away on June 15, 2005.

Margaret enjoyed cooking and loved bird watching. Spending time and caring for her family and grandchildren was the joy of her life. She was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church Bannister, MI.

She is survived by daughter Faye and Richard Woodruff of Owosso, MI, daughter Carol Wilson of Ovid, MI, daughter Peggy Luce of Bannister, MI, son Roy Wilson of Owosso, MI, daughter Wendy and Dale Young of Carson City, MI, 8 grandchildren; Sarah Lackey, Brandon Young, Jamila Ayoubi, Teresa Hall, Jamal Ayoubi, Chelsea Young, Amanda Hall and Courtney Young, 5 great grandchildren; Nathan, Lillian, Abigail, Isabelle and Michael, sister Faye and John Ralph of Phoenix, AZ, 3 brothers; John and Jeanne Barrett of Carson City, MI, Michael Barrett of Owosso, MI, Tim and Jeanne Barrett of South Lyons, MI also several nieces & nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 grandsons; Bryan and Jamiel, 1 sister and 9 brothers.
