Margaret "Joyce" Geller, age 76, of DeWitt, MI, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020, at home of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place and the family will host a Celebration of Life later this year.
Joyce was born in Detroit, MI on August 19, 1943, to Paul and Marion (Jackson) Cyrus. She was the wife and soulmate of David F. Geller for over 40 years. David and Joyce were married in St. Johns, MI, on June 2, 1979.
Joyce received her bachelor's degree from Ferris State University. Joyce retired as a Production Manager after 35 years at Melling Forging Co. She then pursued her true passion managing at Abbott Rd. Animal Clinic for another 13 years.
Joyce loved her dogs and her birds. She worshipped her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and was never shy about telling them how much she loved them or how proud she was of them. She will be missed deeply by all of them as well as all who knew her.
She is survived by the love of her life David F Geller, her children who she loved dearly: Deb (Gregg) Bishop, Scott (Leanne) Fischer, Stephanie Slep; her grandchildren whom she adored: Gregory (AJ) Bishop, Trista (Nick) Price, Elizabeth (Tony) Lyon, Luke Bishop, Zakary (Hannah) Snyder, Benjamin Fischer, and Zane Snyder; and her beloved great grandchildren who were her world: Nathan, Hailey, Kaden, Wyatt, Austyn, Nicholas, Liam, Lily, Alexa Joy, and Kaiyah. Joyce is also survived by her eldest sister Judy Tipper and numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and younger sister Jacqueline Hembree.
