Marguerite Bohil age 84 of Oakley, Michigan died Monday, January 14, 2008 at Ovid Healthcare Center, Ovid, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Edwin Snook will officiate with burial at Ford Cemetery Gratiot County, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. and Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Marguerite was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 3, 1923 the daughter of Henry and Dora ( Thornton ) Rundy. She resided most of her life in Oakley, Michgian and graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1941. Marguerite married John Bohil on June 27, 1942 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. She was a homemaker. She really enjoyed her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her farm animals, working on the farm, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her husband John Bohil of Oakley, MI, daughter Linda Lou Somers of Oakley, MI, 2 grandsons; Brian & Anne Somers of Kalamazoo, MI, Michael Somers of Midland, MI, 1 granddaughter Amy & Kirk Dubois of Oakley, MI, 5 great grandchildren; Joshua, Zachary, Seth, Tyler, Kaitlin, and 2 nephews; Jim Bohil, and Frank Bohil. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Dorothy, and brother Robert.
Memorials may be made to Ovid Healthcare Center, Ovid, MI or Parkinson Foundation. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
