Marguerite Bradley

Marguerite Ann Bradley age 64 of Ashley, Michigan died Friday, March 7, 2008 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, MI on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jon Pohl will officiate with burial at North Star Cemetery North Star, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Marguerite was born in Elsie, Michigan on August 12, 1943 the daughter of Arthur and Eloise ( Hull ) Krueger. She resided most of her life in the Ashley area and graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1961. Marguerite married Kenneth Bradley on March 2, 1963 at the Ashley United Methodist Church. She worked as a substitute at the post office in Ashley. Marguerite was the township clerk for Hamilton Township for a number of years and she worked at the UPI in St. Louis. Marguerite enjoyed sewing, flower gardening and spending time with hergrandchildren and family. Marguerite was a member of Ashley United Methodist Church as well as the East Washinton Extension Group, United Methodist Women and she was also a 4-H Leader for years.

She is survived by her husband Ken Bradley of Ashley, MI, children; Theresa & Jamie Hedrick of Breckenridge, MI, Tim & Amy Bradley of Ashley, MI, grandchildren; Kaylee Denman, Kaleb Bradley, Brad Hedrick, Korvin Bradley, 2 sisters; Barbara Oberlitner, Arbutus & Richard Conrad, and several nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, and 1 sister Marlene Sipkovsky.

Memorials may be made to Ashley United Methodist Church. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
