Mariah Martinez-Chase

Mariah Faye Martinez-Chase, age 13, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral Services will be held at Oasis Community Church, Ithaca, MI, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Dale Wolfe officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service.  A luncheon will follow the service at the church.

Mariah was born in Alma, MI on May 19, 2006, the daughter of Stephanie Chase.  Mariah was in 8th grade at Alma Middle School. She enjoyed music, instagram, talking with friends, watching movies, doing her make up, and taking pictures and selfies.  She also enjoyed spending time with her sister and annoying her too.   Mariah's favorite foods were watermelon, corn, spaghetti, and Mexican Food. She loved her family very much and enjoyed hanging out with them. She attended the Oasis Community Church, Ithaca, MI.

She is survived by her parents Stephanie Chase and Duane Stahl of Ithaca, MI; siblings: Dustin and Destiny Chase of Middleton, MI; Jazmine Sandel of Ithaca, MI; Corey Stahl of Ithaca, MI; grandma Cassandra Smith of Perrinton, MI; aunt Sara Chase and Josh Welsh of Oil City, MI; cousins: Angelia and Adam Garrett, Paige Barnum, Trinity Garrett, and Dakota Garrett all of Perrinton, MI, Shawnee Hollenbeck, Migeezi Hollenbeck, and Steven Welsh all of Oil City, MI, and Corey Carman; uncle Derek and Tigest Smith and their children Yabie, Mathies, and William Smith all of North Carolina. She is also survived by nephew Axel James Chase.  She was preceded in death by grandpa Steven Chase, great grandma Pauline Smith, great great grandma Xenia Smith, and grandpa Merriel Smith.
