Marian L. Allen age 76 of St. Louis, Michigan died Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 15, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church Of The Nazarene, Alma, Michigan. Rev. Stephen Shook will officiate with entombment at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, Michigan
Marian was born in Grand Rapids, MI on September 5, 1928 the daughter of Dallas & Bertha (Hammer) Keiser. She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1946. Marian married Alton Allen on September 20, 1947 in St. Louis, Michigan. She was a lifelong resident of St. Louis, Michigan. Marian was a homemaker, and also worked for St. Louis Schools for 33 years, driving a school bus. She was also a scout leader, and Sunday school teacher. She loved flowers, reading, and was a member of the Alma Church of the Nazarene serving in various positions. She was also active in Band Parents and Sports Boosters.
She is survived by her husband Alton Allen of St. Louis, MI, 4 sons Michael R. & Merrilee Allen of St. Louis, MI, Dr. Patrick & Lori Allen of San Diego, CA, Theodore & LouAnn Allen of Overland Park, MI, Jonathan & Judy Allen of Gladstone, MI, 5 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, and a brother Bill Keiser.
Memorials may be made to Alma Church of the Nazarene or a charity of the donora�(TM)s choice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
