Marilyn Ann Linn age 72 of St. Louis, Michigan passed away Sunday, November 9, 2003 at her home.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel with Mr. Keith Wise officiating.
Marilyn was born on November 10, 1930 in Kent, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer & Ellen M. (Hirschy) Meyer. She graduated from Kent High School in Ohio with the class of 1948 and then from Kent State University with the class of 1952. She was a School Teacher in early years before she had a family, and spent her time raising her children. Most recently she worked as the treasurer for Pine River Township. She was an avid gardener, who loved dogs and riding horses. She was also a Master Bridge Player. She was a member of Gratiot Community Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Michigan Trail Riders Association. She resided in the St. Louis area for the past 45 years.
She is survived by 1 son, Rick Linn of Mackinac Island, MI, 1 daughter, Mary Ellen Linn & Robert Baker of Shepherd, MI, 1 grandson, David Linn of Mt. Pleasant, MI, 3 brothers, Edwin & Daun Meyer of Alma, MI, David & Fran Meyer of Alma, MI, Judson & Sue Meyer of Oklahoma City, OK, 2 sisters, Ursula & Doug McCormick of Bedford, MI, Melinda & Rex Fish of Bedford, MI, and 1 sister in law, Wilda Meyer of Wayland, IA. She was predeceased by her parents, 1 son Robert Linn in 1995, and 2 brothers, Robert Meyer in 2000, and Raymond Meyer in 1935.
Memorials may be made in Marilyna�(TM)s memory to Morris Animal Foundation, 45 Inverness Drive East, Englewood, CO 80112-5480. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
