Marilyn Patterson

Marilyn M. Patterson, age 79, of Ithaca, MI passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at her home.

There will be no services.

Marilyn was born in Ashley, Michigan on May 9, 1934, the daughter of Lester and Beatrice (Smith) Lumbert. On December 15, 1982 she married Melvin "Pat" Patterson in Killeen, Texas.

Marilyn was a former cosmetologist, and she also worked at Ashley Care Center for many years. She and Pat were managers at the Corp of Engineer Campground in Tennessee. She was a former cashier for Dollar General in Ithaca. Marilyn enjoyed traveling with Pat in their RV. She loved playing games on the internet, knitting and crocheting. She was a great cook and she enjoyed cooking for her family.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Candy Burk and Sandi and Dan Cheadle, son Bob and Julie Amspoker, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; Kayla, Katey, and Ali, and 3 sisters; Joan Peters, Janet and Jerry Vanek, and Jackie and Tad Muscott. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Melvin, and brother Charles "Spike" Lumbert.
