Marion Luella Blackburn, age 81, of Okemos, MI died Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at Hospice House of Mid Michigan in Lansing, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Saturday, February 13th at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis. Pastor Keith Wise will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Marion was born in St. Louis, Michigan on October 15, 1928, the daughter of Howard L. and Mabel Bell (Wiser) Aldrich. Marion had resided in St.Louis, Perrinton, and Okemos. She loved bingo, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son Mack and Deborah Logsdon of DeWitt, MI; daughter Karen and Paul Avery of Beaverton, MI; son Howard and Kay Logsdon of Portland, MI; son Michael and Nancy Blackburn of Lansing, MI; daughter Shelly Harris of Grovetown, GA; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister Ruby Gallant of Santa Monica, CA; brother Frank Aldrich of Ellsworth, MI; brother Kenneth Aldrich of Perrinton, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 8 siblings.
