Marion E. Svrcek age 61 of Flint, Michigan died Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center Flint, MI.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church Owosso, MI on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 10:30 AM. Rev. Fr. David Fisher will officiate Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2006 from 3:30 - 8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed Friday Evening at 7:00 P.M.

Marion was born in Detroit, MI on February 28, 1945 the daughter of Albert W. and Dorothy M. ( O'Dell ) Swanson. She resided most of her life in the Corunna and Owosso areas and graduated from St. Paul's Catholic Church in Owosso, MI. Marion married Frank J. Svrcek in January of 1965 and together they raised four children. She was a homemaker and a cook. Marion was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Flint, MI as well as the ZCBJ Lodge of Owosso, MI, and she volunteered for the American Cancer Society.

She is survived by daughter Kathy & Mark Hetfield of Corunna, MI, son Frank & Sherri Svrcek of Owosso, MI, daughter Karin & Mike Dziamski of Plymouth, MI, son Ed Svrcek & Jennifer Kolaris of Owosso, MI, 5 grandchildren Kody, Zakary & Nikolas Hetfield, Connor Svrcek & Anna Dziamski, sister Charlotte "Sheri" & Joseph Lauro of Owosso, MI, sister Dorothy "Joy" & Mike Mayes of Reno, NV, Brother: Erick & Darlene Swanson of Macomb, MI, many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by parents, and brother Clinton Swanson.

Memorials may be made to to a charity of the donor's choice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
