Marjori Johnson

Marjori E. Johnson (Montney), age 61, of Roscommon, formerly of Waterford MI passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Hilltop Manor Healthcare Center, Roscommon, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Marjori was born in Seoul, Korea on June 25, 1954, the daughter of Donald and Ruth (Hoyt) Montney. Marjori graduated from Waterford Kettering High School with the class of 1973. She went on to attend Michigan State University graduating with a degree in Medical Assisting.
She was a massage therapist, a ski instructor and a certified spelunker (caver). Marjori worked many years as a float fishing guide and enjoyed the outdoors. Marjori moved to Colorado after graduating from college; she returned to Michigan in 2008. Marjori was a long time volunteer with the Humane Society.

She is survived by her brothers; Henry Montney of Clarkston, MI, Peter and Leanora Montney of Waterford, MI, Bruce and Sherry Montney of Waterford, MI. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Marjori was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Don.
