Marjorie "Jean" Daniels, age 51, of Owosso, MI passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 as a result of an automobile accident.
A Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Owosso, MI on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. Pastor David Woodby will officiate.
Jean was born in Hot Springs, South Dakota on July 5, 1958, the daughter of Gerald Dean and Marjorie Eileen (Moore) Cookston. She was a 1976 graduate of Owosso High School and attended Ross Medical School in Lansing for Phlebotomy. Jean worked for St. Lawrence Hospital, Lansing and Memorial Healthcare, Owosso. She loved and cared for all animals, collected clocks and blue glass birds, liked gardening and enjoyed flowers. Jean's favorite pastime was watching shows on Forensics. She also enjoyed cooking and was very good at it. Jean will be remembered as very caring and always willing to help others. Spending time with her family was very important to her, especially with her grandson and adopted grandchildren. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Owosso, MI.
Jean is survived by her 2 sons; Jeremy Fairchild of Belfair, Washington, Ryan Fairchild of Owosso, MI, grandson Johnathan Fairchild of Belfair, Washington, adopted grandchildren, Kaiden Johnson and Aaron Johnson, sister Rose Smith of Denver, CO, 2 brothers; Gerald and Mary Jo Cookston of Gillette, WY, Andy and Lori Cookston of Denver, CO, aunt Ruth Reed of Owosso, MI, and uncle Myron Moore of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Daniels, and her parents Gerald Cookston and Marjorie Churchill.
