Marjorie Wackerly age 86 of St. Louis, Michigan died Friday, January 30, 2004 in Alma, Michigan.
Private Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 2, 2004, at Roselawn Cemetery in Saginaw, Michigan. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-7 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
Marg was born in Freeland, Michigan on October 24, 1917 the daughter of Paul & Hildreth ( Beythan ) Block. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan. On June 8, 1942 she married James Wackerly. She resided most of her life in Saginaw for many years before moving to Kaleva where they resided until moving to St. Louis 10 years ago. Marg was a homemaker who enjoyed many outdoor activities and embroidering. She was a very unique, kindhearted person.
Survivors include her husband, James Wackerly of St. Louis, MI, 1 daughter Jean & Ron Gorney of Elwell, MI, 2 grandchildren Ronda Gorney of Alma, MI, James Gorney of Elwell, MI, 1 sister Helen & William Wohlfeil of Saginaw, MI, 2 brothers in law, Howard Beach of Saginaw, MI, and Norman Scherzer of Freeland, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters Arlene Beach & Della Scherzer.
Memorials can be made to a charity of the donora�(TM)s choice in her memory. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
