Mark Clifford Miser, loving son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2022, at the age of 67.
He will be honored in a celebration of his life, to be scheduled at a later date.
Mark was born in Lansing, MI, on December 12, 1954, the son of Lloyd and Dorothy “Dot” (Hasbrook) Miser. Mark graduated from Haslett High School and Alma College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He retired from the State of Michigan where he was a social worker.
He loved gardening, canning and baking. He was a gifted musician and vocalist. He played the piano, violin, guitar and saxophone. He was a devoted member of the Mint City Singers and sang in the choir at the Congregational Church in St. Johns. Mark was also an active member of the Clinton County Arts Council.
Mark’s greatest love was for animals, especially his 2 beloved dogs, Buster and Henry, who were his devoted companions. Mark was an intelligent, talented and kind person. He will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
He is survived by his two sisters: Sheryl (Alan) Darling and Judy (Charlie) O’Rourke; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
