      Marlene Kay Miller, age 85, of Elsie, MI, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at her daughter’s home.
      A private graveside will be held and burial will take place at Eureka Cemetery, Eureka, MI.
      Marlene was born in Haslett, Michigan on February 8, 1939, the daughter of George and Martha (Brewbaker) Hubbard. Marlene married John Keith Miller on November 30, 1957, in Greenbush Township. They celebrated 64 years of marriage before Keith's passing on August 5, 2022.
       Marlene drove School Bus for Ovid-Elsie School District for many years. She loved to garden, bake, cooking, crocheting, and embroidery. Marlene and Keith spent 25 winters together in Zephyrhills, Florida where they made many lifelong friendships. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marlene was an active member of the Eureka Christian Church.
       She is survived by her daughter Ellen and Craig Simpson of Elsie, MI; son Darrell Miller of Ashley, MI; daughter Kathryn and Robert Beck of DeWitt, MI; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Mary Lou Spiece, of St. Johns, MI, sister-in-law Arlis Strachota of Elsie, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husband, 2 brothers-in-law: Roy Spiece and John Strachota.
