Marlus Jean 'Molly' Deming, age 66, of Elsie, MI passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare, Saginaw, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie chapel on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 2:00 P.M., Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 18, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. There will also be visitation the day of the funeral from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 2:00 P.M.
Marlus was born in Illinois on July 25, 1948, the daughter of Floyd and Artie 'Bonnie' (Hop) Pearson. She attended Merrill School.
Molly married Harold Deming on June 6, 1970 in Chapin, MI. Molly worked many years at Seifert Truck Stop as a cook. She enjoyed taking trips to Canada, playing Yahtzee with friends and garage sales with her mother in law, Babe. Molly loved spending time with her grandchildren and dogs, Precious and Little One.
She is survived by her husband Harold Deming of Chapin, MI; son Randy and Pam Deming of Corunna, MI; son Frank and Jodi Deming of Bannister, MI;
daughter Sarah and Tim Dingler of Marion Springs; siblings Bonnie and David Parcham, Sylvia and Don Klatt, Sonny Pearson, Barb Leiner, John Pearson, Laura Leiner, Linda Johnson and Deb and Frank Leiner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, in laws, Frank & Babe Demjen, sister in law Caroline Deming, 2 brothers in law, Chuck Leiner and Harry Johnson, and 2 nephews Anthony & Frankie Leiner.
