Marsha Ann Murphy, age 67, of Ovid & formerly of Owosso, MI passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church Owosso, MI on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM with visiting from 9-11 AM prior to the service at the church. Pastor David Woodby will officiate.
Marsha was born in Owosso, Michigan on January 20, 1942, the daughter of Wilbert and Elaine (Wyman) Porter. Marsha married Edward Murphy December 29, 1973. He passed away May 31, 2007. Marsha resided most of her life in Owosso and Ovid. Marsha retired from Melco Decorating and Furniture of Owosso. She enjoyed arts & crafts and loved spending time with her family, watching movies and camping.
She is survived by her son Michael and Wynnette Eckmyre of Corunna, MI, 3 daughters; Denise and Steve Kora of Elsie, MI, Sara and Jason Murphy of Otsego, MI, Amy Murphy of Ovid, MI, grandchildren; Mallory & Devin Kora, Audrey & Allison Murphy, sister Sandra and Ed Tejkl-Homola of Owosso, MI, and 2 brothers; Richard and Jackie Porter of Owosso, MI, and Gale Porter of Owosso. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son and daughter.
