Marsha R. Painter age 54 of Alma, Michigan died Monday, May 22, 2006 at Pine River Healthcare Center Pine River Township, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jerry Drummond will officiate with burial at Richland Township Cemetery Vestaburg, MI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.

Marsha was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 21, 1952 the daughter of Roy and Flora ( Lewis ) Ingersoll. She resided most of her life in Alma, Michigan graduated from Alma Adult Education in 1991. Marsha married Elwin Painter on June 17, 1972 in Alma, Michigan. He died on November 8, 1997. She was a homemaker. She loved her dogs, listening to music, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Tracy Painter & fiancAC. Nathan Mikel of Shepherd, MI, son Spencer Painter & fiancAC.e Valerie Pereida of Alma, MI, 8 step children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, 1 sister Lynn Benavidez of Vestaburg, MI, and 2 brothers; Larry Watson of Oregon, and Robert Watson of St. Louis, MI. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, and 2 sisters.

Memorials may be made to to the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
