Martha Crackel

Martha Ann Crackel, age 81, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Rosewood Adult Foster Care in Ithaca, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Oasis Community Church , Ithaca , MI , at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 , with Pastor Dale Wolfe officiating .  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Martha will be buried beside her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI at a later date.

Martha was born in Owosso , MI on November 16, 1939 , the daughter of Joseph Charles and Mildred Irene (Tyson) Knauff.  She graduated from Owosso High School.

On May 16, 1964 , Martha married Thomas L. Crackel at St. Paul 's Catholic Church in Owosso , MI .  They were blessed with 50 years of marriage prior to Tom's death on August 3, 2015.

Martha loved her pizza and ice cream. She was an avid reader and made frequent trips to the library.  She was very fond of the poodle she and Tom had for many years.  Martha was employed by GTE for many years. She was a member of Oasis Community Church and had many friends at the church.  She was part of "God's Little Circle" at the church.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom and 2 brothers: James H. Knauff and John L. Knauff.
