Martha French

Martha L. French, age 75, passed away January 1, 2013 in Temple Texas. Martha was born in Owen, Wisconsin on March 24, 1937, the daughter of Oscar and Mabel (Petersen) Larsen. She was a member of Oak Park United Methodist Church in Temple and former member of the First Congregational Church in St. Johns. She graduated with honors from Rodney B. Wilson High School in St. Johns in 1955. Martha married Donald French in St. Johns on September 3, 1955 and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2002.

Surviving are her daughter, Kristine (Jim) Tapp of Temple, Texas, son, Eric French of Georgetown, Texas, and grandsons, Michael Tapp, Jacob Tapp and Kenneth French. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert Larsen, Allan Larsen and Eugene Larsen.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, burial at South Bingham Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Olson officiating. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
