Martha (Hall)Murray

Martha Lee (Hall) Murray died February 12, 2009 at the age of 86. Born January 21, 1923 in St. Johns, the daughter of Stephen and Theda (Wheeler) Hall and lived in Clinton and Gratiot Counties all of her life. She married Mervin Murray in November 7, 1948 and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1998.

Surviving Martha are two daughters, Linda May (Greg) Rogers of Ashley, Connie Lee (Harold) Redman of Wheeler and one son, Carl (Jean) Murray of Ashley, seven grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and two sisters. Also preceding her in death are her parents.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, with Rev. David Hudgens officiating, burial following at Eureka Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed in the form memorials to the St. Johns Senior Center. The family would like to thank the Staff at Ashley Care Center and the Staff at Ingham Regional Medical Center especially the nurses on 4 Chi.
