Marvin Munson

Marvin Paul Munson age 68 of Ithaca, Michigan died Thursday, August 5, 2004 at Gratiot Community Hospital, Alma, Michigan.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 9, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel. Ms. Jo Jones will officiate with burial at North Star Cemetery, North Star, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 7 and Sunday August 8, 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Marvin was born in Ithaca, Michigan on November 5, 1935 the son of Paul Curtis & Dora Mae ( Blem ) Munson. He graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1949 and went on to attend MSU for 2 years. Marvin married Bernice Biddinger at Edgewood Church of God in Edgewood, MI on November 12, 1955. He worked for Don Sharkey John Deere Implement, B&W Co-op, St. Louis Stock Yards for 28 years, Redmond Industry, Owosso, MI, Wal-Mart Corporation Mt. Pleasant & Alma stores. He was an excellent mechanic. He enjoyed & collected toy trains, cars, tractors and antiques. He resided most of life in Ithaca, Michigan
He is survived by his wife Bernice Munson of Ithaca, MI, 2 sons, Michael & Brenda Munson of St. Johns, MI, Eric & Amy Munson of Brownstown, MI, 5 grandchildren Kindra, Clayton, Emma, Jack, & Sam, 2 brothers, Lynn & Sandy Munson of Bangor, MI, Maynard & Jan Munson of Greenville, TX. He is predeceased by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the family, or Ithaca Senior Activity Building. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
