Mary Ayers

Mary Ann Ayers age 92 of Owosso, Michigan died Monday, January 14, 2008 at the home of her daughter, Sharon in Oakley, Michigan.

There will be no services. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008 and Friday, January 18, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery Owosso, Michigan.

Mary was born in Saginaw County, Michigan on October 8, 1915 the daughter of Francis and Alice ( Hotchkiss ) Brewer. She resided in Owosso since 1979, moving there from Livonia and graduated from Vernon High School. Mary married Clifford Ayers in Angola, Indiana on August 14, 1937. He passed away on December 30, 1975. Mary Ann was a homemaker and will be sadly missed. Mary was a member of Corunna Baptist Church and the Salvation Army Golden Agers Club.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon & Robert Woodworth of Oakley, MI, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, sister-in-law Opal Brewer of Owosso, MI, and several nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, two sons; Lester and Clifford Ayers Jr., and one daughter Dorothy Petrimoulx.

Memorials may be made to Corunna Baptist Church. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
