Mary Feldpausch

Mary J. Feldpausch died January 2, 2011 at the age of 83. She was born on September 2, 1927, in Detroit, the daughter of Andrew and Barbara (Ovenen) Alexander. Mary moved with her family to Pewamo in 1937 and graduated from Pewamo High School in 1944. She married Robert Albers in 1950 and lived in St. Johns most of her life. She was a Founder of the Mint Country Garden Club and continued to be the club's Historian. Mary enjoyed flowers and gardening. Mary's life centered around her daughters and her good friend, Bob Albers. In 1973 she married Owen Feldpausch, they enjoyed traveling the country in their travel trailer. Owen preceded her in death in 2003.

Surviving are two daughters, Diane Lee of Lansing and Mary Ellen (Keith) Lapp of Alanson, MI, many friends and relatives. Also, preceding her in death are her parents, and brother, Andrew.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at the Osgood Funeral Home, burial to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mary's memory.
