Mary Gould

Mary Ann Gould, age 85, went to join her husband Ken, daughters: Becki, Kellie, and Ronda, her parents, siblings: Jean, Ethel, and Chuck and granddaughter Suanne in Heaven on January 15, 2022.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Bruce Anna officiating.  Burial will follow at McBride Cemetery, Montcalm County, MI.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral.

Mary Ann was born in Lennon, Michigan on October 15, 1936, the daughter of Rubert Wellman and Leda (Washburn) Wellman.

Mary Ann loved singing and dancing.  She enjoyed pot lucks with her family and friends.  Mary Ann and Ken wintered in Gulf Shores, AL and later moved to Robertsdale, AL.  They were founders of the "Michigan Club" in Gulf Shores and active in the Robertsdale senior center.  Mary Ann loved walking on the beach in the Alabama sunshine.  She participated in many fundraisers with the Oaks at Woodfield.  She was also a member of the Sweet Adelines.

She is survived by son Brian (Laura) Moray, daughters: Suzan (Mark) Ypma, and LeAnn (Dennis) Gay, sisters: Nancy Dunivon, Bobbi Johnston, Lola Beach, Janice (Steven) Payne, and Paula (Doug) Collins.  She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
