Mary Alice Hawks age 63 of Lansing, MI, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her home.

Mary was born in Stockbridge, MI on March 30, 1954, the daughter of John Bud and Dovie (Rowe) Thornsbury.  Mary resided most of her life in Lansing.  Mary's grandchildren were the joy of her life.  She enjoyed puzzles, needlepoint and crafting.  Mary loved watching TV and movies.
She is survived by her daughter: Tina and Adam Holliday of Lansing, MI; daughter: Rachel Thornsbury of Lansing, MI; daughter: Michelle and Larry Schneider of DeWitt, MI; 8 grandchildren: Janae, Caleb, Xavier, Dayton, Jonathon, Amaya, Griffin and Lilyana; mother: Dovie Thornsbury of Lansing, MI; brother: Tom Thornsbury of Lanisng, MI; brother: Millard Thornsbury of Lansing, MI; brother: Ronnie Thornsbury of Lansing, MI; brother: Donnie Thornsbury of Lansing, MI; sister: Judy Highfill of Alabama.  Mary was preceded in death by her father, 2 sisters and her brother.
